This Maker Faire project has been one of the most amazing projects that I have ever done at any level of school. The ability to be able to pick our project and then to be given $50 is amazing. I learned so much on this project. I learned how to 3D-print which is super cool, and I also improved my skills with the Arduino and with coding. I 3D-modeled a Mario Hat and a Mario Coin in gold and glow in the dark filaments. This project also feels so rewarding when you are able to finish your project, and Michael and I were able to complete our project. I am so happy to be able to have an hour and a half every other day where I can enjoy myself by building a fun project, but also while learning. I enjoyed every second of this project, even when it felt hard to do the project and also when we made improvements, it was awesome. The amount I learned from building this project is absolutely incredible and I am so happy that we were able to learn so much. This project gave us the amount of money that we needed to be able to make a fun project and also learn about the Arduino, push buttons, and how to 3D-Print. I am so happy I was given the opportunity to be in the SELC this year and have been able to learn how to engineer. I hope to continue to learn about engineering in the future years and become smarter and more open to learning about new things. I cannot wait until the projects that we will continue to be learning in the following years, and I am so happy to be part of the SELC community.
